Hailey College of Banking and Finance (HCBF) recently organized its first-ever basketball tournament for male and female students, bringing together talented athletes from various universities and departments. The thrilling event featured participation from esteemed institutions, including University of Management and Technology (UMT), University of Central Punjab (UCP), and University of the Punjab.

In the female category, University of the Punjab emerged victorious, showcasing exceptional skill and teamwork. Meanwhile, UCP's men's team demonstrated remarkable prowess, claiming the top spot in the male tournament.

HCBF Principal, Dr. Ahmad Muneeb Mehta, expressed immense joy over the tournament's success, highlighting the significance of sports in students' holistic development and personality shaping. He emphasized that the college's basketball and badminton courts, being the only ones in Old Campus, provide a valuable platform for University of the Punjab students from diverse academic backgrounds to nurture their passion for sports.

Dr. Mehta added, "We are grateful to the honorable Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali, for such visionary leadership and continuous support in promoting sports and student development initiatives at HCBF We look forward to hosting more such events in the future."
