We are proud to announce that the students from the Institute of Metallurgy & Materials Engineering, University of the Punjab (IMME-PU) Lahore, Pakistan, have won 1st position (Engineering Innovation Award 2024) in a national competition among the final year design projects of undergraduate students from all over Pakistan at the Pakistan Auto Show 2024! organized by the Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts & Accessories Manufacturers (#PAAPAM) on October 25th-27th, 2024 at the International Expo Centre, Lahore. Their outstanding project, titled "Data-Driven Prediction of Fatigue Strength in Heat-Treated 4140 Alloy Steel for Automotive Applications," showcases innovative research that highlights the transformative power of Data Science in Materials Engineering for Automotive Sector.
